Sedona and Phoenix
Our stop after the Grand Canyon was in Camp Verde, Arizona. While we were there we went to Montezuma Castle National Monument and Well.

It was pretty neat to see the houses built into the side of the mountains, but as far as National Monuments go…we were slightly underwhelmed. It only took a few minutes to see everything and then we were outta there! There was also a “well” nearby that we drove to and hiked down into. While we were here we drove to Sedona and hiked around and explored some of the amazing red rocks. It was very beautiful, and hot. There was still snow up in Williams, so we were a bit shocked by the temperature difference. My Grandpa and Grandma Miller live in Phoenix, so our next stop was a quick visit down to say hello to them. Unfortunately, (fortunately for her!) my Grandma was away on a trip to Paris while we were there.

We had a nice visit with my Grandpa, and Uncle Andy though. We went to church at West Olive Church of Christ, where my Grandpa is the minister, and then we had a lovely lunch with them at his house. We got to eat fresh tangelo’s from the tree in their backyard!
